Risk Management | Head
Head of Risk Management since early 2026, bringing 11 years of international experience in risk management and regulatory reporting. He has worked in London for leading financial institutions - initially at BNP Paribas from 2015 in liquidity regulatory reporting, and later at Citigroup from 2024, overseeing risk management for the Group’s broker dealer arm. He holds certifications in Derivatives Operations from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) and is a member of Mensa International. Beyond the banking core, he contributes to the sector’s institutional representation. He serves as the elected Chairman of the Hellenic Bankers Association (HBA) UK and Head of its Executive Committee, amplifying the voice of the Greek banking community in the United Kingdom. He is a Liveryman of the City of London, participating in the City’s electoral processes, and a regular speaker at London based forums on comparative risk management and regulation. He holds an Executive MBA from Bayes (Cass) Business School specializing in corporate strategy, and is a scientific associate at the University of Macedonia in Information Law since 2014. He completed his undergraduate studies at the same university, graduating top of his class and delivering the graduation oath. In addition to Greek and English, he has working proficiency in German and Chinese (Mandarin).
